Meeting Between Schools in Brunssum: AFNORTH and the Polish School of Gen. Sosabowski

On December 5, 2024, a meeting took place at the premises of the International School AFNORTH in Brunssum between representatives of this institution and the Polish School of Gen. Sosabowski, affiliated with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in The Hague. For over 20 years, the Polish School has been housed in the building of the International School AFNORTH, enabling a fruitful collaboration between the institutions.

During the meeting, Dr. Judith J. Allen, Director of the International School AFNORTH, and Ms. Bożena Cichy, Director of the Polish School, discussed current achievements and future plans. Also present at the discussions were Mr. Rob Bindels, Deputy Director of AFNORTH, and Ms. Beata Bruggeman-Sękowska, founder of the Central and Eastern Europe Center, sworn translator and a long-term partner of the Polish School in Brunssum.

Ms. Bożena Cichy expressed her gratitude for the support provided so far and the friendly cooperation that has enabled the Polish School to operate in this unique international educational environment.

At the end of the meeting, Ms. Bożena Cichy was invited to leave a message in the guestbook of the International School AFNORTH, emphasizing the significance and value of this partnership.
