Exhibition ‘From Fauvism to Surrealism: Jewish Avant-Garde Artists from Hungary’ opened at Jewish Historical Museum in Amsterdam

On Sunday 28 May, the exhibition ‘From Fauvism to Surrealism: Jewish Avant-Garde Artists from Hungary’ was opened in the Jewish Historical Museum in Amsterdam. The opening was kicked-off with a speech by Jewish Cultural Quarter director Emile Schrijver. The audience was then addressed by former director and exhibition curator Mr Joel Cahen, Ambassador Kocsis and Jaap Scholten, a well-known Dutch writer who lives in Hungary. The Jewish Historical Museum will be placing work of nineteen Hungarian Avant-Garde artists in the spotlight until 24 September.
