On May 16, celebration of a National Polish Day of May 3 took place at the Allied Joint Force Command, Brunssum in the Netherlands.
The celebration was attended by many guests, including H.E. Ms. Margareta Kassangana, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the Netherlands, Lieutenant General Krzysztof Król, PhD Chief of Staff, Command group, Allied Joint Force Command, Brunssum, representatives of Polish and international armed forces, Polish General Sosabowski School with the director Ms Bozena Cichy, colonel Boguslaw Baruch, godfather of school banner, representatives of the Polish community in Limburg.
During the celebrations the golden military medal was awarded to Ms Bozena Cichy, director of General Sosabowski Polish school in Brunssum.

The golden military medal is awarded by the Minister of National Defense of Poland to people who, among others, contributed to the popularization of the history and traditions of the Polish Army on the international arena.
The medal was presented by the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Mrs. Margareta Kassangana and Lieutenant General Krzysztof Król, PhD Chief of Staff JFC Brunssum.
